Ray Luca, Managing Partner

For more than 20 years, Ray has led the sales and operations for leading trade shows and conferences in multiple industries, including food manufacturing, retailing, and food processing & packaging machinery.

Ray began his career in the events industry with Convention Management Group. During his tenure with CMG, Ray served in numerous capacities from Show Manager to Director of Administration & Client Services, eventually adding overall responsibility for CMG Operations. He supported multiple events for clients, including American Meat Institute, International Dairy Foods Association, United Fresh Produce Association. Upon CMG’s acquisition by Naylor, Ray was promoted to Vice President of Naylor/CMG. In 2011, Ray became Group Director of Exhibits at J. Spargo & Associates and, in 2013, Exhibit Sales & Sponsorship Manager for Association Innovation & Management, Inc.

Prior to joining Event Advisory Group, Ray was Director of Exhibitions for Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI), producers of several packaging events including PackExpo, one of the largest trade shows in the US.

Ray earned a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business and is an active member of IAEE DC Chapter. Ray enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
